Many professionals reject social media marketing because they don’t get much of a response when they do post. However, social media, like all marketing, is about targeting, consistency, and quality. If you aren’t seeing results in your social media marketing, consider whether some of the following issues may be the problem:
1. You’re not active. Social media is like networking. The more you show up, the more opportunities to get noticed.
2. It’s all one sided. Don’t just post something and move on. Like, share or comment on other people’s content. Ask people for their thoughts or pose a question for others to answer.
3. There is no visual component. Studies show that individuals are substantially more likely to respond to visual information than text. So, always add an image to your posts.
